Doppler Radar

The Doppler radar imagery provided by the US National Weather Service (NWS) gives a clear view of rainfall potential across the southwestern United States and the northern Baja California region. Light color echoes on the radar often represent atmospheric scatter such as dust or virga (precipitation that evaporates before reaching the ground), while mid-greens, yellows, and reds typically indicate rainfall that is actively reaching the surface.

This tool is especially useful for monitoring San Felipe weather conditions in real time, helping travelers and residents track storm activity and rainfall patterns before planning outdoor activities.
